Main duties include

• Using various computerised despatch systems.
• Use of AS400
• Dealing with customer collections
• Use of machinery – guillotines, punch press, printing, saws and drills
• Internal and external delivery handling
• Packing orders to ensure the goods arrive with the customer correctly packed and in good condition

Hours of work:

• The site operates 8 hour shifts worked between 06:00 and 18:00.  Likely shift will be 09:00 to 18:00 but flexibility is required.

Skills required:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to follow detailed instructions, both written and verbal
• Manual dexterity and the ability to carry out detailed tasks at a fast pace
• Ability to maintain focus when carrying out repetitive tasks.
• Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team
• Some knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
• Counterbalance FLT licence is desirable

Previous experience of working in a factory/production/warehouse environment is essential.
