My Newcastle-Under-Lyme based client is looking for an experienced TIG Welder / Stainless steel fabricator to join their well-established manufacturing business.

The company provides solutions for the food manufacturing sector in stainless steel including conveyors, mixers, tables, guards, platforms and stairs.

The products are mostly manufactured from 1.5mm sheet, stainless steel box section and stainless steel tube.

Some local site work would be required on bakeries etc for maintenance, upgrade and repair.

The ideal candidate will:

Have TIG Welding experience and knowledge.

Have a driving license as there will be occasional visits to customer sites using the company van.

Preferably have engineering qualifications / knowledge / experience as the role is not just a stand-alone welding role, it is part of the manufacturing process as a whole and involves working to technical drawings and specifications.

Salary £dependent on experience.

Hours are Monday to Friday

8am to 4.30pm with an early finish on a Friday.
