Due to an upcoming retirement my client is recruiting for a Stores and Inventory Control assistant to join a busy manufacture team.
The purpose of this role is to provide assistance to the maintenance and production teams with responsibility for accepting all deliveries of stock, ensuring accurate records are held, that everything ordered is present, in good condition and accounted for in incoming deliveries, including spare parts, consumables and materials. This role is responsible for organising and managing spare parts for the production line and ensuring my client has accurate records of parts and stock on hand.
This role is an important link in the company supply chain for maintaining standards of delivery to Customers. Customers rely on accuracy to ensure production runs efficiently and so my client’s approach to stores activity is focussed on making good internal decisions and promoting accuracy from their team at all times. The role of Stores and Inventory Control is responsible for the efficient management of stocks whether picking orders or locating stock within the warehouse. The position requires on time delivery targets are kept and Customer requirements are met.
Candidates must have the following experience/skills:
Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 6.30am – 3.00pm (including a paid break)
