Absolute are currently recruiting for experienced senior support workers to work in a supported living service in Sandbach. Our client encourages all their employees to promote and engage in supporting people to be involved in every part of their day to day lives so that they can be active members of the community.

The role of a senior support worker will include the day to day running of a high quality service for adults with complex needs. They are responsible for promoting person-centred care throughout the service, while working within the company values and aims for the service. Senior support workers must be able to work on their own initiative and must be able manage the daily routines of the whole team. They must work closely with the team leader and manager to ensure the service is effectively managed.

Key requirements:

• Clear, appropriate and positive communication.
• Ability to work on their own initiative
• Management experience (Desirable)
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities or forensic background
• Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (Desirable)
• Full UK driving license, the residents have their own vehicle and enjoy going out for activities.

The position is full time and may include sleep in shifts which are paid at £30 per sleep in.

The client is committed to ensuring their employees are sufficiently trained and once probationary period is completed all employees are required to complete relevant qualifications if this is not something you already hold.
