Payroll Administrator

£20,000 - £25,000 DEP ON EXP

As payroll administrator, as well as administering the payrolls for my client you will be involved in providing administration support for the HR Department.  Experience in a similar role is essential.


Key duties:

  • Inputting salary information
  • Processing starters, leavers and any payroll amendments
  • Completing mortgage references, and salary enquiry forms
  • Completing pension review requests
  • Distributing payslips
  • Monthly analysis of AOE deductions and payment to relevant organisations
  • Preparing reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes etc
  • Providing payroll information when required
  • Resolving payroll discrepancies
  • Maintaining payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
  • Attending meetings, preparing minutes and action items


Key skills and experience required:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Sage Line 50 payroll is essential
  • Involvement in the implementation of Sage Line 50 would be beneficial
  • Strong IT skills (including the full Microsoft Office suite)
  • Ability to work in a highly confidential environment
  • Proactive and self motivated



Candidate mu have Grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)


Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm
