We are looking for a Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our one of our highly successful clients based in Stoke-on-Trent on a permanent basis. The company are global suppliers and are involved in construction, electronics, consumer products, agriculture, automotive, oil & gas, heavy equipment, industrial and similar end markets. The role will include providing support to multiple sites based in Stoke-on-Trent.

Duties:

Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment
Able to work as part of a team, or alone using own initiative
Analyse safety procedures and meet electrical codes
Make decisions based on technical documents
Perform quality testing and inspections
Used to working within a heavy industry environment
An excellent working knowledge of PLCs
Essential:

Must have Industrial experience from either Mechanical or Electrical background
A good understanding of Health and Safety
ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering
18th Edition
Served a recognised Apprenticeship
Excellent communication skills
Must have Full UK driving licence with access to vehicle
Whilst Electrical knowledge (preferably with heavy plant, ball mills etc) is essential, the ideal candidate may also possess some mechanical knowledge.
