This is very much a development opportunity and will suit candidates who have a technical sales/customer service background.  The sales cycle can vary greatly, and commission is uncapped. Initially calls will be a mixture of inbound enquires and outbound calls to customers who have made an enquiry.  Part of the development of the role would be to move to lead generation.

 

There is a strong support network in place to help develop the successful candidate, who will need to demonstrate the ability to learn and show technical aptitude.

 

Office based on sire in Stone, the key duties will include:

  • Providing application and pricing support to direct end users and indirect sales channels
  • Using CRM tools to develop and track sales pipeline
  • Producing quotations
  • Identifying sales opportunities and developing relationships
  • Providing technical expertise to customers and prospects
  • Communicating clearly at all levels on commercial and technical issues
  • Attending conferences and exhibitions
  • Ensuring work is within ISO 9001 standards

 

Key skills and experience required:

  • HNC or equivalent in a related Engineering discipline
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Good understanding of project life cycle
  • Strong PC skills and commercial awareness

 

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm

Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
