Absolute Recruitment are looking for an experienced Glue Operator to join one of their well-established clients based in Crewe. This position for the right candidate will be permanent.

Specific requirements

• To be responsible for the operation of all gluing equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• To ensure the smooth day-to-day running of gluing equipment.
• To ensure that work is produced in a timely and efficient manner.
• To operate as a Gluing Operative being responsible for running and maintaining all available equipment within the department as required; use of other equipment may also be required.

Skills required:

• To be working in a similar gluing operator role in a print or packaging company.

In addition, you will also be a good communicator, work closely with the Production Department, literate, enthusiastic, possess a keen eye for detail and will have the ability to produce top quality results, working to tight deadlines.

Hours of work

Rotating shifts including a shift allowance and lunch allowance.

Monday to Friday 6am – 1:30pm then Monday to Friday 1:30pm – 9pm with an earlier finish on a Friday.
