My client is looking for a General Operative/Caretaker, to provide quality multi functional services in their commercial and residential buildings.

You would work 8 hours per day between 6am and 6pm Monday-Friday. You may be required to work some Saturdays for which a day in lieu can be taken.

You would be responsible for:

• Providing cover for cleaning staff during periods of absence
• Provide cover for front of house during periods of absence
• Car park monitoring
• Assistance with external cleaning duties
• Maintaining company vehicle/s
• Labouring for the maintenance team
• Gardening duties ie clearing of shrubbery
• Litter picking
• External jet washing
• Collection of goods and materials from local suppliers
• Cleaning of graffiti from brickwork
• Ensure toilets remain free from blockages
• Attend emergency call outs
• Assist with weekly testing of the fire alarm systems
• General caretaking/handyman duties as required by management

Person Requirements:

• Knowledge of building security
• Experience of cleaning
• Ability to complete tasks at agreed timeframes, in a safe, professional and efficient manner
• Organisation and prioritisation of workload
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Procedures
• Physically fit
• Able to work on own initiative but be adaptable to change
• To have a can do, positive approach
• Organised with a flexible approach to work
• Be willing to wear company uniform and or PPE when required
