My Tyne & Wear based client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer who may be multi-skilled but must have extensive experience in Electrical maintenance. Experience will need to have been in a manufacturing environment.

The role: Permanent day shift and Full Time

The Salary: £37,000 – £38,000 dependent on experience. Monthly bonus available and overtime available.

The Role:

Across a range of equipment including mechanical/ electrical/ hydraulic/ pneumatic and CNC machinery.

• Proactive and Reactive maintenance and engineering
• Fault finding and diagnostic work through to repair
• Breakdown maintenance
• Support in the installation of new equipment
• Maintain and improve the schedule of maintenance
• Deployment of systems and processes (existing and new)

The ideal candidate:

• At least 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role
• 18^th Edition
• HND/ HNC / NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Ability to read and use a wide range of technical drawings
• Determined and patient fault finder and problem solver
• PLC experience
• Knowledge of CNC machinery
• Experience with Wood working machinery is desirable but not essential
