Job Description

Our client is looking for a new member of their small and friendly customer service team to support their growing e-commerce and distribution business.

Contract: Temp to Perm

Salary: £9.00 – 10.00 per hour dependent on experience

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm

Holiday: Standard

Range of Responsibilities

  • Taking incoming calls from customers or suppliers
  • Dealing with inbound queries from calls or email
  • Logging queries on the company software and following up to ensure the query is seen through to completion
  • Changing orders from customers
  • Updating customers on stock issues

Skills Required

  • Previous experience in an office-based customer service
  • Good knowledge of IT and Microsoft packages
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Ability to deal with customers with problems in a calm and efficient manner
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a methodical manner
  • Pro-active and hard working
