As Continuous Improvement Coordinator you will support all operations in the implementation of projects by facilitation, training and coaching of employee groups and improvement teams.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships across all departments
- Helping develop and support CI projects from initiation through to delivery
- Supporting and facilitating site projects to improve existing processes and implement new procedures to drive improvements
- Proactively resolving non-conformity cases by carrying out corrective actions driving to root cause analysis and implementing appropriate preventative actions
Key skills and experience required:
- Clear understanding of manufacturing business processes
- Good influencing skills, with the ability to lead, coach, train and mentor
- Using the tools and discipline to ensure changes are robust and sustained
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate experience of working with Lean CI tools and techniques – 5S, OEE, Kaizen 7 Wastes etc
- Working knowledge of TPM and ability to demonstrate effective use of DMAIC processes
- Strong IT skills – Microsoft Office.
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
