My client is looking for a composite operator to work at their Aerospace Manufacturing site. Experience within this role is not essential as full training will be provided. However, experience in manufacturing and assembly work, composite manufacturing processes or experience of the aerospace industry or other highly regulated environments, would be advantageous. You would need to have excellent manual dexterity and accuracy and adherence to processes and possess a ‘hands on’ and ‘can do’ attitude.

Your key duties and responsibilities would include:

Tool maintenance and preparation

Material cutting and kitting

Laminating

Vacuum bagging techniques

Demoulding and trimming

bonding, fitting and assembly

(Completion of the above activities to defined procedures and work instructions).

Associated Responsibilities:

Maintain positive proactive relationships with both internal / external departments, customers, suppliers, or others as appropriate to support the aims of the company for sustained efficiency improvements and long-term growth.

Maintain a high standard of health and safety within the department and ensure that all practices support the company’s environmental and health and safety policies.

Ensure that all work activities and records comply with Company Policies, Procedures and Codes of Practice.
