Client Development Manager

2018 has been a great year for the Absolute Solutions Group, with unprecedented growth and the development of the best recruitment team that we have had in our 15 year history. We plan on 2019 being even better and we’re now looking to make our next hire to help us achieve ambitious growth plans through an exciting, brand new strategy.

Job purpose:

  • To contribute to the strategic direction of the business by identifying and creating ‘recruitment solutions’ for major business wins
  • To work with the delivery function to identify and maximise new recruitment business opportunities with existing clients and leverage all opportunities across major key accounts
  • To achieve specific new business targets and growth goals

Behaviours and Activities:

  • Through high-level networking, constantly seeks and identifies new and potential business opportunities
  • Proactively maps and networks with senior contacts to develop strategically important relationships
  • Is instrumental in the creation of the Client Development Strategy
  • Meets and monitors their own monthly new business activities
  • Delivers against the overall Client Development Strategy
  • Initiates new and innovative client development tactics and schemes
  • Works closely with marketing team to identify new client engagement strategies based upon client and market demands
  • Identifies and attends all relevant networking opportunities
  • Keeps abreast of industry updates and is ‘known’ as a Market Expert in their field
  • Is a member of relevant industry Associations / networking groups
  • Initiates and leads new client pitches and major account opportunities, taking a lead role in high profile accounts
  • Market evangelist – with support of marketing, actively blogs and creates industry engaging content regularly
  • Participates in existing industry groups on Linkedin, including Group company pages
  • Highly proactive in all areas of social media to create awareness and new business opportunities
  • Monitors existing accounts and upsells within existing clients
  • Leads review meetings where required with existing key accounts
  • Keeps abreast of industry challenges to ensure innovative recruitment solutions are being presented to clients
  • Analyses own performance regularly and ensures they are on track
