My client is recruiting for an experienced Chief Finance Officer, who is able to demonstrate their financial acumen and ability to develop and execute financial strategy.

As CFO you will be eager to learn and adapt to challenges within the sector, quickly growing relationships at a senior level.  Joining a small team you will be comfortable covering a wide range of duties in this varied role.  You will have experience managing a team, developing them to provide cover and succession planning.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and building processes to streamline financial activities
• Identifying, implementing and auditing financial processes
• Driving financial growth
• Overseeing budget setting and monitoring
• Producing and maintaining forecasting for all activities
• Monitoring financial performance, reporting the outcomes for the Executive Team
• Providing financial reports
• Leading on internal audits
• Preparing and submitting audited statutory consolidated accounts
• Taking responsibility for all financial activities
• Implementing measure to prevent and detect fraud
• Maintaining a Risk Management Policy and Register

Based onsite in Ellesmere Port you will travel to other sites as required.

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 37 hours/week

Holidays: 30 days + bank holidays
