Job Description

Due to continued growth within the business my client is recruiting for an additional Channel Manager to join their busy Commercial Team.  The successful candidate will be customer orientated and commercially driven.

 

Reporting to the Commercial Supervisor and working within a small, dynamic Commercial team, you will be involved in continuous analysis of market data to optimise sales and profit within defined product ranges. To ensure the continued growth of the company, you will also focus on being first to market with new product launches within your defined product ranges.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and daily monitoring product listings and performance, executing changes to improve the customer experience and enable sales opportunity growth across all digital selling platforms.
  • Creating new product listings with the support of the team.
  • Liaising with and keeping key stakeholders including marketing updated on range strategies to ensure products have maximum, viable exposure at all times.
  • Supporting and helping sales staff in customer services and outbound sales deal with technical product and pricing queries.
  • Compiling and producing KPI’s reports on performance and most importantly advising and taking actions to improve and to increase sales and profit margin.
  • Monitoring and managing pricing margins to maximise sales.

 

Key skills and experience required:

  • Experience of working in a demanding and fast paced multi-channel retail role.
  • The ability to analyse and reach accurate conclusions to support range decisions.
  • Experience of price setting/margin management.
  • A thorough understanding of commercial retail insights and landscape.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage and persuade at all levels.
  • IT literate and numerate.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Good working knowledge of working with databases and Google Analytics.
  • Experience of using a website CMS or eCommerce platform.
  • High attention to detail, able to spot errors and multi-task and working to deadline.

 

Hours of work: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm

Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays (rising one day per year to a maximum of 25 days)
