Absolute partners with Gap Personnel

The Absolute Solutions Group, the Cheshire-based group of recruitment companies, and Gap Personnel Group today announced a deal which sees Gap acquiring a major stake in Absolute, in a partnership that will accelerate both firms’ growth strategies.

The deal, which completed on the 3rd January 2023 for an undisclosed sum, comes just in time for the Absolute Solutions Group’s 20th anniversary which we will be celebrating soon!

Benefits include:

  • Allowing Absolute CEO’s and Senior Management team to focus on what we do best… top notch recruitment!
  • Being part of a bigger family, which brings significant operational support and technologies, benefiting both our Candidates and Clients

Dan Marshall, joint CEO, writes “Jess and I have always loved Recruitment. Partnering with Gap increases our operational support, which means that Jess and I will get to dive back into the parts of the business we love – developing relationships and developing our people. That is our real passion, and we can’t wait to get stuck in!

Our strapline is “It’s all about people” and this partnership will allow us to fully focus on our mantra whilst being part of a larger family that shares our goals and values.

“We’ll also benefit from some exciting cutting-edge technologies, which will hugely enhance the recruitment process for our Candidates and Clients alike.”

“The cultural fit between our Group companies and Gap will allow us to build on our ambitious five-year expansion programme. Our people-focused recruitment model combined with the geographic and operational infrastructure that Gap can offer, mean that Absolute is now more confidently placed to bid for a range of new contracts that will secure the future growth of the business.”

All Group branches and staff will remain the same with our fantastic team of recruitment professionals, but you may soon see some additional branches and some new faces! All companies will continue trading under their current brand names – indeed the Group’s brand recognition and reputation in the North-West (Cheshire, Staffordshire and Shropshire) is one of the reasons that attracted Gap to the partnership.

Mark Roberts, Managing Director at gap personnel group said: “We’ve witnessed Absolute Solutions Group’s growth since its early days, so when the opportunity to welcome them into the gap personnel group presented itself, we were keen to move quickly. Together we’ve agreed strategic objectives to achieve future growth, and we are confident this partnership will strengthen our network and provide an even higher quality service to both our clients and candidates.”

This is a great partnership for The Absolute Solutions Group for several reasons and a growth opportunity that joint CEO’s Dan and Jessica Marshall are very excited about.

“This next stage in the Absolute Solutions Group’s evolution is a really exciting time for me, Dan and the team – particularly as we approach two decades in business!” said Absolute’s other CEO, Jessica Marshall, “We have always known that we provide a first-rate recruitment service, but with the operational and financial backing of Gap Personnel, the potential for future growth and the expansion of our service is tremendous.”
